Deron Williams
After playing 12 games, with the Turkey Beskitas, PG Deron Williams’s jersey has been retired. Williams, was the first NBA player to play overseas. With the NBA lockout over, Williams is returning to states, to play with the New Jersey Nets, or should I say, the Brooklyn Nets.

UCLA
Justin Combs, son of rap mogul Sean "P.Diddy" Combs, has committed to play football with UCLA, Combs plays cornerback. It's been reported that Iowa, Illinois, Tennessee Tech and Wyoming were looking to recruit Combs as well. Combs says, "I’m committed to UCLA, and I was silently committed to UCLA for a while, but now was the time.”
Washington Capitals
The Washington Capitals lose their first game, with new head coach Dale Hunter (2-1,) to the St. Louis blues. Former, head coach Bruce Bourdreau was fired on Monday, for reports of him, and star player Alex Oveckin not getting along.

Green Packers Player Arrested For Domestic Violence
Green Bay Packers linebacker, Eric Walden was arrested; for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. Walden will remain in custody, until his court date on Monday. Walden has recorded 41 tackles this season thus far; and is a 4th year veteran. The Packers are currently 11-0.

Mariners OutFielder Stabbed To Death
Seattle Mariners outfielder, Greg Halman was stabbed to death; in his Netherlands home. Halman’s brother was taken into custody for questioning, but still no arrests are made yet. Halman played 35 games, with the Mariners last season, with a hitting average of .230. In 2007, Halman was on the gold-medal winning Dutch team, for the European Championship.

Hall of Famer Fighting Parkinson's Disease
Forrest Gregg, a former Green Bay Packer announced, that he has been diagnosed, with Parkinson's disease. Gregg was a six-time All-Pro, and nine-time Pro Bowler, and he is was inducted, to the NFL Hall of fame. Currently, there is no cure for Parkinson's but; with diet, exercise, and physical therapy can delay the disease. According to a neurologist, they say this disease may be related to numerous, concussions Gregg suffered during his playing career.

Greg Chalmers wins his 2nd, national title by defeating; the likes of Tiger Woods, and Geoff Ogilvy. We all know, Woods has had a rough couple of years, but I will say that he is trying to make a come back; as Woods came in third in the Australian open.

Coach K Still Breaking Records
Duke University basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski also known as coach K is now tied with his mentor Bob Knight on the victories list of winning 902 games. I'm kinda anxious to see this year what Duke will have to offer since they're a young team, they lost Nolan Smith, Kyle Singler, and Kyrie Irving to the NBA, but word on the street is you better watch out for Austin Rivers.

Your Fired
Penn State University has fired Coach Joe Paterno, for not telling authorities; about a child being raped by former assistant, Jerry Sandusky in 2002 in a shower at Penn States, campus. Paterno, became the head coach of Penn State in 1966, he has won 2 national championships, and he is the all-time leader in postseason wins with 24 appearances. Paterno says “Right now, I’m not the football coach, and that’s something I have to get used to.” Tom Bradley, the assistant coach will coach Friday’s, game against Nebraska.
Ray Lewis
Baltimore Ravens, linebacker Ray Lewis was also fined, for an illegal helmet to helmet hit against Hines Ward, on Sunday's night win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lewis said, "You can't stop playing defense the way defense has always been created to play."
Pittsburgh Steelers Safety Fined
Ryan Clark, Pittsburgh Steelers safety was fined $40,000, for an illegal against Ed Dickson, of the Baltimore Ravens. This is not, Clark's first illegal hit this season; he was fined for hitting Patriots Rob Gronkowski.

Albert Haynesworth
It's been reported, that the New England Patriots have released, defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth. Haynesworth was named Defensive Player of the Year, with the Tennessee Titans, in 2008. Haynesworth is most known, for signing a seven year $100 million contract, with the Washington Redskins.
Joe "Smokin" Frazier
Yesterday, I reported that boxer Joe Frazier; is in the late stages of liver cancer, and sadly I have to report that Frazier has passed away, at age 67. Frazier’s, family released a statement saying, "We The Family of the 1964 Olympic Boxing Heavyweight Gold Medalist, Former Heavyweight Boxing Champion and International Boxing Hall of Fame Member Smokin' Joe Frazier, regrets to inform you of his passing. He transitioned from this life as "One of God's Men," on the eve of November 7, 2011at his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We thank you for your prayers for our Father and vast outpouring of love and support."

Joe Frazier, a former heavy weight boxing champ; has announced that he is in an advance stage, of liver cancer. Frazier is most recognized, for his legendary matches against, boxer Muhammad Ali. One in particular, was in 1975 which is most known as "Thrilla in Manilla."

Ex Nascar Driver Arrested On Drug Charges
Jeremy Mayfield, former NASCAR driver was arrested, and charged with possession of drugs. It's been reported, that Mayfield was charged for possession, of 1.5 grams of meth. After failing numerous drug tests, Mayfield was barred from NASCAR in 2009.
Bubba Smith
It's been reported, that Former NFL player Bubba Smith; died of acute drug intoxication, on August 3rd. It was said, that Smith had heart disease, and an enlarged heart. Smith, was drafted in the NFL in 1967, he played for the Baltimore Colts, Oakland Raiders, and the Houston Texans.

It's been reported, that he's been charged with indecent assault; for allegedly going underneath, a woman's costume. What is that you ask; it’s when any person, who has indecent contact with another, or takes indecent liberties with a person without; his or her consent is guilty of indecent assault and it's a sex crime.
